Enfosi Gazo Class Guide

Learn Gazo's ranged role, current headshot-focused identity, sight-line positioning, ammo planning, squad coverage, and solo tradeoffs.

Gazo is Enfosi’s ranged specialist. Current SMILE MORE community reporting describes a headshot-focused bonus and a slower melee swing, which makes target confirmation, clean sight lines, aim discipline, and close-range planning more important than simply standing far from the statue.

Read the current Gazo panel before building. Exact perk wording, starting weapon, price, damage, and penalties require live verification.

Gazo’s job

Hold a lane where confirmed threats can be engaged without firing through innocent Glaggles. Keep enough distance to read the crowd and enough proximity to protect the statue. Your ranged advantage disappears if walls, teammates, visual effects, or overlapping bodies block the target.

Do not use uncertain shots as a disguise test. Let the crowd separate, track the suspect, and call the confirmation. A headshot-focused identity rewards precision after identification, not guesses before it.

Build the sight line

At map start, choose a position with a visible objective, a clean approach, and an escape route. Check what happens when the crowd reaches the statue; an angle that works at long range may collapse when bodies overlap.

Avoid shooting through teammates or harmless targets. Change height or lane when the backdrop is unsafe. If a confirmed enemy leaves the clean line, reposition rather than continuing blind fire.

Use the Maps guide to record lanes and resource travel before calling a position “best.”

Loadout priorities

Pair ranged pressure with a controlled close-range answer, recovery, or mobility. SMILE MORE reporting makes the melee drawback relevant, so do not assume any backup attack is equally efficient. Confirm current item compatibility and descriptions.

Plan ammunition. Know the safe refill route and preserve a boss reserve. A powerful ranged tool with no ammo during the dangerous window is not a complete build. Avoid duplicating several ranged items if none solves contact or recovery.

The Weapon Tier List compares tools by role rather than unsupported damage values.

Gazo in squads

Ask another player to watch close space and the blind approach while you hold a long lane. In return, call threats early and avoid dragging the whole team toward your target. A Gloober can support recovery, a Glaaber can handle contact, and a Cheerer can prepare a crossing, but responsibilities must be explicit.

If another ranged player uses the same angle, split lanes. Two views create more information; two players blocking one another create less.

Gazo solo plan

Solo Gazo works best when the map preserves visibility and the resource loop is short. Keep the statue in your camera sweep and end chases before the target enters tight geometry. Carry a reliable answer for a threat that reaches melee range.

Do not turn a successful Gazo solo video into proof of universal balance. Record map, difficulty, build, and current perk text. Practice on a stable route before raising difficulty.

Boss routine

Use the opening cycle to learn where the boss exposes a clean ranged window. Keep moving along a known rotation and avoid aiming so narrowly that hazards disappear from view. Preserve ammunition for later behavior, especially when phase details are not yet confirmed.

If the team needs objective coverage during a boss, choose a position that can see both. Damage done from a disconnected corner may cost the run.

Gazo practice drills

First, complete a wave with no shots through a mixed crowd. Second, track ammunition and arrive at a boss with a reserve. Third, practice retreating from a close threat without losing the statue. Fourth, compare headshot and non-headshot outcomes only under the same live conditions.

Common Gazo mistakes

  • Treating range as permission to shoot uncertain targets.
  • Standing so far away that disguise details or the statue are unreadable.
  • Ignoring the reported melee drawback when building a backup plan.
  • Using all ammo on routine pressure.
  • Sharing one narrow angle with another ranged player.
  • Ranking Gazo from a solo clip without matching map, mode, and build.

Gazo questions

Is Gazo the best ranged class?

Gazo is the established ranged specialist, but its practical value depends on sight lines, aim, ammunition, current perk text, and team coverage.

Is Gazo good solo?

It can be when the map supports distance and you carry a close-range and recovery plan. Tight routes expose the tradeoff.

Should Gazo test disguises by shooting?

No. Establish and track the suspect first, then commit only with safe separation and confidence.

What changed in SMILE MORE?

Current community reporting describes headshot emphasis and slower melee. Verify the exact current wording in the class panel.
